How to keep the fill port o-ring on your reservoir free of dirt
In certain conditions, particularly in desert or sandy environments, fine grit can infiltrate the o-ring seat. This can prevent a proper seal when tightening the cap.
To keep the inside of your fill cap clean of dirt at all times:
- Rinse fill port and cap with water.
- Scrub cap with cleaning brush if necessary.
- Check o-ring for damage.
- Replace o-ring if necessary.
