NEW CAMELBAK® KIDS BOTTLES MAKE HYDRATING FUN FOR KIDS, WORRY-FREE FOR MOMS
SALT LAKE CITY (January 22, 2009)
CamelBak® today made an official proclamation for kids across America: "No more crying over spilled milk" … or any other spilled beverages, for that matter. The hydration innovator revealed the newest member of its BPA-free bottle family - the spill-proof CamelBak® Kids Bottle with a "magic" instant flip-and-sip button.
CamelBak will sell two versions of the bottle - one made of Tritan™copolyester plastic, and the other made of stainless steel. Both are 100 percent BPA-free, giving parents peace of mind about their kids' health. The bottles will be on display in CamelBak's Outdoor Retailer booth (#17026) January 22-25.
Because of CamelBak's exclusive, spill-proof BigBite™Valve, parents will appreciate that liquids stay in the bottle even if it gets shaken, dropped or turned upside down. Kids will love the button that makes the bite valve pop up so they can take a sip. The bite valve mouth piece and straw do all the work - kids don't even have to tip up the bottle to drink. The CamelBak Kids Bottles feature a wide-mouth opening for easy filling and a one-piece bite valve and stem to make cleaning a breeze. The bottle's built-in, looped handle lets kids carry it with ease on all kinds of adventures.
"Parents may tell their kids 'don't play with your food.' But we're telling kids it's OK to play with their drinks because our bottles won't spill," said Jon Austen, Director of Product Management at CamelBak. "When you make hydration a part of playtime, kids grow accustomed to drinking more often, which helps them concentrate in school, keeps them more active on the playground and aids their digestion and metabolism."
The new CamelBak Kids Bottles hold 12 oz./.4L of liquid and come in a range of vibrant colors with fun, playful graphics, ranging from pirates and dinosaurs to mermaids and butterflies. The bottles will be available at retailers nationwide in July at the following suggested retail prices: $14 for the Tritan copolyester bottle and $20 for the stainless steel bottle.
