Rated 3 out of 5 by rtversky from No surprise, except that a purchase was necessary at all I only bought this product because there was no clear and plain replacement available, and no single use replacement. I'm disappointed that Camelbak no longer gives free replacements for torn bite valves and there was not an option to buy just the single replacement I needed, forcing me into a more expensive option. I thought the company believed in lifetime quality for their water bottles. That may not be realistic, so I would at least expect to be able to purchase a single replacement rather than a pack of colors I neither need nor want.

If memory serves me correctly the silicone parallel to the cap opening has become thinner with the "eddy" than what was on the "better bottle". As well, the extension to include the piece used to raise the bite valve bends awkwardly. I feel the product has reduced in durability. As well, why can't I buy just a single or double clear valve pack? Might make the shift to another company after my caps break.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Matt from Can't get the color I want, same as my 4 came with Why can't get the color I want? Why can't I get the same color the 4 of these I have came with? Camelback sells them self as a customer friendly environmentally friendly company. If this is such an environmentally friendly product why do I have to throw away three of the four replacement valves and purchase a pack of four instead of even giving me the option to purchase one. My kids don't want to use the other colors nor do I blame them as why do I want a pink valve on my purple bottle....!!! This is such a basic thing for a company this size. Please simply be customer friendly and don't force products/ colors we don't want and 4 packs when we need one. The silly thing here is that I am not even questioning why they where out fast. I just want to give y'all my $ for a pruduct I actually want. Really I can't buy one clear replacement? All of my original bottles have clear valves, why can't I buy them? When a company stops listening to their customers they decline. These aren't cheap products for the value they provide, these are top-of-the-line and this should be top-of-the-line customer service however clearly Camelback doesn't get it. It's so easy I just don't get it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by tom from Does not fit the Stainless Steel Eddy!!!!!!! This is the only version I have found on the website for the stainless steel Eddy. The tips are too big and the base pattern does not fit the unit. It is also too long and the spout cannot be folded down.

I have two Eddy bottles, both the older model, and cannot find a supplier for replacement bite valves in the UK .My last search resulted in finding a partial pack on ebay for a ridiculous sum ,plus postage, with quite a few bids - I'm clearly not the only one with this problem. As a result I'm going to have to discard the bottles - a great shame as they were an excellent product. I really cannot understand why a company with the reputation of Camelbak allows this problem to persist- I will be buying an alternative in future.
