Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mold I got this water bottle a while ago and I love it. Although I do wash it at least once a week yet the part inside the lid that's not replaceable grew mold and I can't get it out. The water bottle it self is great I've droped a lot and has never broken and although if tipped in it's side of can leak but not always. Also It never sweats which is perfect because I put it in my backpack for class and my books or laptop won't get wet. Best water bottle ever however I will need to get a new on because of the mold but it's worth it. If it does grow mold again though I may have to rethink

Rated 3 out of 5 by from love the bottle - hate the mold I use this bottle everyday, and I mostly love it. It keeps your drink cool and the condensation is less than a non-insulated bottle... but it grows mold (like crazy) inside the mouth piece and the non-removable pieces inside the cap. I have to wash it constantly with a pipe cleaner to get into the small spaces, sanitize it in the dishwasher and soak it in Clorox at least once a month just to keep up with it. The mouth piece wears out quickly as well. Like I said, I love the bottle, I hate the mold. Wish they would re-design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good...but I love this bottle! It's insulated so it doesn't sweat all over my books and I like the color. It doesn't spill unless you don't close the lid rid and then it's an easy fix. However, I've had mine since Christmas and in June I noticed some sweating. I was quite disappointed, but the Camelbak Lifetime Guarantee is going to replace it so no complaints here! I think it was a problem at the seal between the insulating layer and the bottle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Get the Stainless Steel Version After misplacing the stainless steel version of this bottle twice, I eagerly ran into my local sporting goods store hoping to purchase another. However, they didn't have the steel one, and I reluctantly purchased this plastic version instead. After reading the other reviews, I was concerned about mold, but as I use my bottle for only water, this was never an issue for me. What I don't like, though, is: 1) it's much harder to flip up the bite valve with one hand than the previous Eddys I've owned, and 2) it doesn't keep my drinks cold very long at all. In the steel bottle, I could count on ice lasting a good 24 hours, but ice lasts barely 2 hours in this bottle. While it doesn't sweat, it provides very little actual insulating power. I'll be purchasing the stainless version for the third time today, and I suggest you do the same. They're really not comparable at all - the steel version is far superior.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The eddy insulated water bottle I carry my water bottle with me almost everywhere. I love the insulated component...when I add ice, I no longer drip all over the place. I really wish the mouth piece would last longer. My current lid is 14 months old, and it will not lie down, it drips in the car when the sun shines on it. It did not do these things when it was new. I will buy another one, but I am on the lookout for a different water bottle that meets my needs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your Money I use this water bottle daily and was very happy with this water bottle at first. I particularly loves the fact that I just had to bite and sip. However, not even 6 months later and the mouthpiece doesn't even close anymore and it leaks all over the place. I've had bottles that lasted far longer. I never had a Camelbak before and I'm fairly disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth it I really like camelbak bottles and I lost mine, so I was excited when a friend gave me this one. I didn't notice at first that it is double walled. I've been disappointed as the capacity is so much less than I'm used to, it's only half a liter which is even less if you put ice in it, and it's supposed to be insulated but it doesn't really work, my ice melted in under an hour on a hot day. I'll keep using it, but if I'm hiking it takes up too much space for the amount of water you get. It was free anyway! I wouldn't pay money for this one, I'd get a regular eddy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I bought this water bottle for summer camp, and after two weeks of use it came back with condensation between the insulated layer and the water bottle. I asked if she dropped it or broke it. She said she just carried it by the handle as advertised. True to her word the separation of the outer insulated layer and the water bottle is on the opposite side. I left a message for warranty, still waiting on a response. This water bottle is two months old and has only been in the field two weeks?
