Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks and hard to open The first use was pretty good. The reservoir cover is unneccesarly difficult and to get off, but I don't refill much so didn't worry about that. However, on the SECOND use it started leak. I've read this is a problem in other reviews but assumed it was operator error, but no it's clearly a design flaw. Worst of all it leaked so much it damaged my phone that was located in the pocket. So not only out the $50 also, have water damage to my phone. Fail Camelbak, FAIL.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Reservoir does not close properly and leaks Otherwise a great product, but the new reservoir has a fatal design flaw making it almost impossible to close and causing leakage. The handle you hold while filling the reservoir is not secured to the rim of the fill hole, so when you try to screw on the lid after filling, the weight of the water causes the fill hole to separate from the handle you are holding. The handle thus gets in the way of the screw top and the lid cannot close properly. Looking back at Amazon reviews, it appears many other customers have the same issue, so its very disappointing this defect wasn't isolated to the pack I bought. Sadly, customer service cannot just send me a new reservoir and I have to send back the pack. Very surprised to see such a defect in a CamelBak product, I otherwise have a great experience with the company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No good Leaks because lid wont close. Very hard to install bladder in pack once filled unless you want to try filling in pack but thats a huge mess. Hard to open. Bottom line all new design is a nightmare and they should go back to basics.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A cycling pack with no waist strap ? I'm seeing more and more of this from Camelbak and Im mystified The second you lean forward, which you "might" do 300 times during a mountain bike ride, it wants to slide up your back because there is no waist strap. Not only that, the reservoir loading is just kind of strange. I got stuck purchasing this at a random bike shop in a small town because I left mine at home, now it looks like I will be selling on eBay.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shocked at how bad this is Used it three times, on the fourth time when filling it up I closed the lid. No seal at all and was leaking everywhere. Thought maybe I cross-threaded it when closing so tried again...and again....and again.....no luck. To echo what others have said, there is a horrible design flaw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Should've Listened to the Reviews Did my research before purchase. However, one person offered a solution to the leaking problems with this product. So I tried it. The first time the Camelbak worked great with little leaking. However, the second and third time was horrible. Literally leaked all over my back and my shoes. I was soaked. And when it came time I needed to actually take a sip, there was nothing left. Do they not product test before placing these on the shelves? Attempted to get my money back. But so far no word.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Seats high on the back allowing access to jersey pockets while riding. Lid close perfect - twist it anticlockwise till it makes s click then tighten making sure lid handle is horizontal. Good water capacity
