- Powderhound™ 12 Hydration Pack
With 12 liters of storage space and a 3-liter reservoir, the Powderhound is ideal for quick backcountry and sidecountry trips. It features interior storage pockets for stowing your avy kit, along with external attachment points for strapping skis to the outside of the pack. To keep your water flowing, the insulated Therminator harness lets you zip your drinking tube into your shoulder strap to protect your water supply from frigid temperatures (no more frozen bite valves). The Powderhound’s slim, low-profile shape also lies flat against your back for a more comfortable ride on the lift.
- The brand new Crux Reservoir delivers 20% more water per sip, with an ergonomic handle for easier refilling, and an on/off lever that makes it easy to prevent leaks.
- Snowshed Back Panel: Back panel repels snow and keeps it from sticking to your pack
- Therminator Harness: Drinking tube zips into an insulated sleeve in the shoulder strap to protect your water supply from the elements
- Diagonal Ski Carry: Use the external straps to carry skis diagonally on the outside of the pack
- Adjustable sternum strap slides up and down the harness for a custom, chafe-free fit.
- Removable stability belt helps to keep pack secure over technical terrain
- Secure zippered pocket for essentials
- Avy Gear Organization: Includes storage compartments designed specifically for avalanche gear
- Large zipper tabs are easy to grab while wearing gloves

Rated 5 out of 5 by erodzevi from Look no further! I recently moved out West from the East coast where I used to do most of my skiing. Hence I never really found myself overly dehydrated when skiing but now that I soley ski out West I constantly was. After reading every review possible I originally tried the Bootlegger as I just wanted it for the hydration pack, I found it to be a bit awkward and it was noticeable underneath my coat. So I ordered the Powderhound and have zero regrets. I never knew I wanted storage until I had it, the tube that tucks into the strap is great and the fit is perfect. The only thing is that the water does taste a bit "plasticey" but good luck finding one that doesn't. All and all, I recommend this thing to anyone who asks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Compressorsurge from Perfect size! Perfect arrangement I work ski patrol and use this bag on a daily basis to carry my avi kit and lunch. The 100oz bladder is plenty for a full day at 10,000ft. I highly recommend this pack to anyone looking for a small, compact and useful piece of equipmunk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mejosh from Sleek, snug design with plenty of space. Been on my back the last 5 times I went snowboarding and could hardly tell it was there. Feels great on the back with plenty of space for snacks, wallet, keys and a full bladder without it being bulky..

Rated 5 out of 5 by tay13 from Great Day Trip Pack I bought this pack a month ago for short backcountry hikes and day trips. I bought it to carry my snowboard while I snowshoe. I'm 5'4" and the pack fits me well. Its very stable with a full bladder of water, some snacks and my board attached. I don't feel like it's too big for my frame. 3L of water is plenty for a full day of hiking in the winter. I plan to also use it for day hikes in the summer. Amazing pack!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve2020 from Awesome Hydration Pack Just used this pack for the first time and all I can say is it’s awesome! Perfect size hydration pack for day skiing or snowboarding at your favorite ski resort. About only thing I didn’t like was where the strap between both shoulder harness straps comes up on my torso. I thought it was a little too high and should reside lower on the waist instead of upper chest. Keep in mind I’m 6’2”.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kittybobo420 from Perfect size I purchased this just before Summer began. Therefore, I have yet to test it on the slopes. Hope to bring this snowboarding this coming season if resorts are allowed to reopen. I have been using it during hikes and biking and it has been a dream. I am able to keep a good amount of items in the backpack too! I love that the tube and mouth piece are removable making cleaning and drying very easy. So far I am happy with my purchase it’s not too big or cumbersome to wear for hours.
