Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth It Love, love, love this water bottle. I, personally, have never experienced any of the issues that some of the other users have with the cap. No signs of mold, no tinge, nothing, and, I've had this water bottle for about a year now. I love the pliability of it, and the added feature of locking the top so no water can escape is excellent and very useful. This water bottle comes with me to soccer, volleyball, on runs, and on road trips. It's been kicked and thrown around, and yet still looks the same as the day I bought it, and works the same too. It's a very durable, comfortable water bottle, and I highly recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON'T buy Podium till Camelback offers replacement CAPS THIS APPLIES TO ALL PODIUK BOTTLES Don't purchase them until Camelback offers to sell replacement Silicone Drinking caps. They get old and dirty and do not clean. They only sell whole top including cover for $7 too expensive for a $1 or $2 replacement of the real problem_ the silicone cap. Until Camelback offers a Silicone cap replacement alone I will stop buying these bottles ( I have three) Never again until the correct this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best water bottle out there I've been using the Podium Chill bottles for a few years now. They are, in my humble opinion, the best bottles out there. There's nothing quite as satisfying as slurping down a nice gulp of COLD water in the middle of a ride. Once you have a little experience with these bottles, you learn exactly how much ice to put in with your water, so that the water stays nice and cold and so that the ice melts just as your ride is ending. Maximum cold and maximum liquid. Although most water bottles are a pain to clean, this one's not too bad. I've tried other brands of insulated bottles and they always have that plastic taste in the water... these do not. I also bought one of the "discontinued" models, which, except for the color scheme, seems to be identical to this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Silicone cap went bad after one week I bought one of these for my daughter for school. She has had it one week and only brought water to and from school. I washed the bottle each night and had to remove the cap - which is not easy - because mold immediately was apparent. The silicone cap then developed a pink tinge that I have used every cleaning product on and it has not come out. We are tossing it after a week. I don't think there's any point in buying these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must be good; I own 7 of them. I use them as portable water, refrigerator cooled and ready to go. It is 101f here. Or I get the ice to water ratio down and it's colder longer. Plus if you just squeeze the bottle at your open mouth (face) and don't suck on the nipple it will take a long time (but less than 27 years), before you have to clean ANY bio away. You can squirt your dog.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Ergonomic for Lefties I love the cap, no leaking and it's the right amount of flow. Insulation isn't amazing, but if you start with about 1-2 ice, it will do the job. Gripping indents aren't good for lefties with smaller hands (women's medium hands). Felt OK to squeeze in my right hand, but not great in the left, especially while riding. Wish this was ambidextrous. Won't be purchasing another. I don't expect things to be made specifically for lefties, but with cycling it makes more sense to me for everything to be ambidextrous for all riders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 2nd Podium Chill This is my 2nd Podium bottle. I use it for biking and running and as my everyday water bottle. The insulation does help keeping my water cooler. I love the lock-unlock on the lid, keeping the bottle from leaking. I've had my first one for over a year and it is still in great condition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tips for Cleaning Cap to Keep Up this Great Bottle I use this water bottle for cycling. It keeps ice-water cool on 70F 2Hr rides, which is what I like most about it, plus the ergonomic feel (for righties at least), and the force with which it sprays—I can get a good gulp quickly with minimal effort—make it a great cycling water bottle. I just cleaned out the cap after using it for a year (yes it was gross). As others have complained, it does develop mold fairly easily and the cap can be tough to clean. But it is not all that difficult to do (the description says "easy to remove nozzle" though I would say that it takes some ingenuity and a bit of effort), and, in my opinion, it's worth doing every so often in order to enjoy the rest that this water bottle has to offer. Here's how to clean the cap: (1) get an old toothbrush; (2) disassemble the lid by removing silocon nozzle from the twistpiece and then pushing the tube out from inside the nozzle. Now you can clean all three components (lid, silicon cap, interior nozzle) with the toothbrush and dishsoap. I usually clean out the bottom of the bottle with a soapy bit of paper towel on the end of a chopstick.
