- Women's DayStar™ 16 Hydration Pack
The Day Star™ is our ultimate grab-and-go pack, with enough features for a quick out-and-back. It also does double duty in the front country—remove the reservoir, and it’s got room for books, lunch and a layer. Put it back in, and you’ve got enough water for 2+ hours on the trails. If you’re loading up for a longer hike, there are side pockets for extra water bottles, and attachment points for trekking poles. When you’re traveling light, just cinch down the compression strap for a compact fit that won’t snag on branches. No matter what you’re carrying, the women’s-specific design means that the straps and back panels curve for a closer, more comfortable fit.
- The brand new Crux delivers 20% more water per sip, with an ergonomic handle for easier refilling, and an on/off lever that makes it easy to prevent leaks.
- Breathable air mesh back panel for a lightweight, comfortable fit
- Main compartment and separate essentials pocket organizes your lunch, gear and one day peak ascent needs.
- Women's-specific design features a shorter back panel and an S-curved harness for a closer fit
- External attachment points let you attach trekking poles and other gear to the outside of your pack

Rated 5 out of 5 by CindyLou from Everything it was advertised to be! I used this on a 90 degree, high humidity day at the zoo. The water stayed cool in the backpack. It was easy to access and very comfortable to carry, even with my arthritic neck and back. There was room in the pack to carry everything I needed for myself and my kids. I am looking forward to using it at a 4 day music festival in July! I would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a comfortable backpack with hydration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kristin from Just in Time! My Husband and I frequently go on day hikes at State parks close to us and purchased the DayStar and Cloud Walker for a recent hike. Tons of room, well built and super comfortable!!! Plenty of water for our day trip with room to spare for lunch and personal effects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alicia from Perfect Size I have been researching hydration backpacks for a few months and finally settled on this one. It's the perfect size for me (only looking for a backpack for simple day hikes), the main compartment fits a jacket and my hammock and that's about it. I like that the side pocket fits my 32oz hydroflask in case I want to bring more water. Sometimes it's awkward filling the crux up and getting it back into the backpack since the insulated walls are pretty sturdy, but I think it's something I'll get a better hang of the more I use it. The water also had a bit of a plastic taste even after rinsing it all through before the first use. Hoping that fades as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by fancy pants from camelbak daystar bought this for long horse back rides. worked great. no more reaching for a water bottle and shuffling the reins. drank more water because of it, another plus. the backpack was really roomy, stashed a raincoat, emergency kit and snacks. i had additional room to store my friend's stuff. recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mikehike from my wife loved it! worked great this weekend! not too big but easy to access stuff as needed. top pocket well designed. one problem: the reservoir has clips at the top to secure it at the top of the pack - but there is no place to clip it to. did i miss something? having the weight stay stable and not shift, is important when out all day.
