Podium® Steel & Podium® Titanium FAQs

  • Podium® Steel is made from high-quality, medical grade “18/8” stainless steel. Podium® Titanium is made from Grade 1 Titanium. Both materials resist stains and corrosion. They are also naturally free of taste and odor.
  • Podium® Steel and Podium® Titanium bottles are 100% free of BPA, BPS and BPF.

  • Yes, Podium® Steel and Podium® Titanium bottles are dishwasher safe. We recommend placing the vessel and cap on the top rack to avoid damage.
  • If washing by hand we recommend hot, soapy water and a bottle brush.

  • No need to squeeze - we’d be impressed if you could! The Podium® cap was designed with a high flow rate so all you need to do is tip and sip.

  • The bright blue tube underneath the Podium® cap is the “Vent Tube.” It is the secret to unlocking a high rate of water flow when you drink from the bottle. The Vent Tube allows air to enter the vessel, displacing water as it flows out.

  • Podium® Steel and Podium® Titanium are designed to fit in the majority of bike cages on the market.
  • Podium® Steel and Podium® Titanium bottles are vacuum insulated to keep your water cold. Podium® Steel 18oz keeps water cold for 14 hours, Podium® Steel 22oz keeps water cold for 18 hours, and Podium® Titanium keeps water cold for 7 hours.
  • Yes, Podium® Steel and Podium® Titanium can be used with your favorite electrolyte beverage. Be sure to wash thoroughly after each use.
  • Podium® Steel and Podium® Titanium feature a familiar twist lockout. When the lockout is in the closed position it is leakproof.
  • We recommend using the Podium® Steel and Titanium® caps because they have the proper vent tube and nozzle for water flow.
  • Although Podium® Steel and Podium® Titanium bottles are extremely durable, they will likely show some wear eventually with repeated use in any type of bike cage. We like to see these scrapes and scratches as reminders of our favorite rides over the years.
  • Water will still flow without the blue vent tube, but not as freely. If you lost or damaged your vent tube, please visit the warranty section of the website to file a claim.
