Rated 5 out of 5 by Rusk from Love it! Major Improvements Appreciated. I've always loved that Camelbak bottles never drip, but I stopped using them because they were a tad too fat and I struggled to get them in/out of my cages while riding. Then at a recent event, sponsored by Cambelbak, they were giving away this new bottle, which got me to try it. I was very impressed by the new narrow body that glides in/out of my cages now. Huge improvement. Also, the new nozzle that can be removed and taken apart is so much easier to clean. Lastly, I like the subtle colors (clear and light blue). Kudos to Camelbak for getting everything right. I was so impressed I went on line after the event and bought four (4) more of these bottles!

Rated 3 out of 5 by DaveG from Good tops Wanted to replace my older 25oz Podium Insulated water bottles due to the difficuly of keeping the nozzles clean (really bad design) I ordered the 24oz White Podium bottles with red tops. To my surprise the white bottles are actually clear. I used them once. The ice melted before I could get on the bike. I would have ordered the new Podium Insulated water bottles but the reviews are so bad I didn't want to take the chance. What next? Think, think, think. Solution. Install new red tops (much better design) on the old Podium Insulated bottles. Im back in business. Camelback needs to bring back the older style Podium Insulated bottle with the newly designed top. Camelbak. Why is so difficult to design an insulated water bottle that works and you can clean it?

Rated 2 out of 5 by BOley85 from NOT LIKE THE OLD MODEL I had one of the older models that I absolutely loved. This one seems shorter, and lever is much hard to turn to open and close. I don't know why they need to change something that works. Bring back the old design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Komakino from Improved Fit and Feel New slimmer design - bought so it would be easier to remove from my carbon bottle cages, and works a treat. New cap is easy to clean by just removing the rubber cap from the underside - no need to completely dismantle. Excellent flow rate and splash-proofing. Recommended.

Rated 1 out of 5 by clarks from Using and cleaning are a literal pain I bought these bottles because the redesign was supposed to be easier to use and clean. While yes, the parts do come apart and are easier to clean once disassembled, the process actually hurts my fingers. I am not making a mountain out of a molehill here--turning the valve via the small wing arms hurts because the edges are too sharp, and the fit is too tight. The old version could be unlocked with one hand or with the bottle in the cage, but the new one is so tight that you have to hold the top in place so it does not come unscrewed while opening the valve. Taking the top apart to clean is even worse. Pushing the valve through the top requires you to again press your fingers against sharp plastic edges to force it through, and popping the retaining ring back in place when reassembling is equally painful. It would be one thing if this was just due to initial tight fit, but I have disassembled these bottles after every use to stay on top of keeping them clean, and they have continued to be a challenge. I would also chalk it up to an outlier with tight manufacturing tolerance, but I bought six of these bottles (two insulated 21oz, three standard 24oz, and one 21oz with dirt cap), and they are all terrible.

Rated 3 out of 5 by efpro from Uhh, the lid? The bottles are aesthetically pleasing. The new cap design is somewhat problematic. Two issues. 1. When moving from closed to open while riding, instead of opening it will unscrew. 2. I like my water bottles filled to the top. With the new design that causes spillage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heavysweater from Excellent locking valve I got two of these b/c mine were worn out and I needed a way to lock the valve so it wouldn't leak or splash when it was full and got knocked around. And this works. I also love the high flow rate. I can get a lot of liquid really quickly.
