Rated 5 out of 5 by Carter from Combt Tested Civilian Used Everyday!!! I bought my Camelbak AMBUSH™ 100OZ Mil SPEC CRUX Just prior to me deploying to Afghanistan. I am an Infantry Soldier in the Army. I bought it at the local PX and happy that Camelbak keeps their prices reasonably affordable. Camelbak also donated a Squadpak for us to take out and R&D. My Ambush has been with me everywhere I go since its purchase. Now that I am home. I use it to snowboard, mountain bike and everything in between. I love the light storage pockets. I can put all my tools to work on my bike and snowboard on the side of the trail. Moab UT it really came in handy to have so much storage space and able to keep hydrated in the heat. Ease to fill the blatter and the thin shoulder straps and D rings to attach to my Ruck sack along with elastic bands to tie up the loose straps or we just use a little . The MPH tape, a Blatter that collapses on itself so that you are not sloshing around water letting people know where you are at. INGENIOUS! I can go all day on the pros of this bag. The bottom linr is that this is a well thought out product that I have seen on the battlefield, ski slopes, hunting, and mountain bike trails. I use this everyday cold or hot on my back telling my Soldiers to hydrate and leading by example. I never was able to thank Camelbak for all their support to the American Soldier while we were down range, so let this be my personal thank you to all the employees at Camelbak. Your products are truly awesome. I own a Mother lode in ACU that has been with me since Iraq 2004, 3 ambushes in desert camo Iraq, ACU, and now Multicam.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ShortytheFF from Very comfortable, decent storage & lots of water! I purchased this for working out, mountain biking and running and it has been excellent for all three. The storage is adequate for a small emergency first aid kit with a couple of tourniquets, a few energy bars and enough water to hydrate a camel. It adjusts and wears very well, even with a full 3l bladder and pockets full. It's stable and doesn't move around, even when I do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FishThe305 from Amazing bag •FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO READ THE REVIEW• •very comfortable •extremely durable •looks great •tested in semi harsh environments •the bag balances; storage, water capacity and sleekness. Firstly, do not expect this thing to hold as much as large size bags. Extremely sturdy and well built bag. It lives up to its Camelbak name and then some. It features a lot of things you won’t find in your typical hydration pack. First being the handy spoon grip to hold your bag up while filling up the bladder. Tied in with the giant mouth for it makes filling this thing effortless. Also has a decent amount of space for any essentials. I use mine for fishing and I always have enough water in here to last me up to 4 hours of drinking every so often. It has been rained on for 30 minutes and the storage compartments managed to stay dry through it, after that I had known this think was built with quality materials. It has seen plenty of hot Florida sun and saltwater but a light rinse and it’s brand new. I love this thing. Not to mention the bags design features a curve on the back side that almost makes it unnoticeable. Even while casting or rowing on the kayak it does not get in the way. Can’t go wrong with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dillon from My son said it works great My son said this works great and holds a lot more liquid than the Army issue. It was a great Christmas present. I am sure it will come in handy while he is training at the NTC in California. Thanks from this Army Mom! Hooah!

Rated 3 out of 5 by gritz from shoulder straps It needs padded shoulder straps badly. They could also be wider.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jsztoob from A great purchase. I purchased this so I could use while mountain biking an also as an option for hydration with a plate carrier. I’ve used it on about six rides so far. It carries more than enough water for long rides. The compartments are big enough for snacks, tools and an ifak. I also like the insulated tube, which makes that first drink a little cooler than usual on hot rides.
