One of our most popular running vests just got an upgrade. The new version of the Circuit is 30% lighter and includes a 1.5-liter Crux reservoir that delivers 20% more water per sip. And of course, it still offers all of the features that make it a favorite for bonk-free races and long runs: front storage pockets for gels and fuel, a secure zippered pocket that fits most phones, and reflectivity to keep you visible when you’re on the move. The two fully adjustable sternum straps guarantee a snug, bounce-free fit that won’t constrict your breathing when you’re panting through a hilly workout.

  • The brand new Crux delivers 20% more water per sip, with an ergonomic handle for easier refilling, and an on/off lever that makes it easy to prevent leaks.
  • 3D Ventilated mesh offers multi-directional air flow and cushioning to maximize comfort and breathability
  • Secure phone pocket conveniently located for quick access and includes a zipper closure for added security
  • Dual adjustable sternum straps increases stability and offer a range of adjustments for customization
  • Reflectivity on front and back for early morning or evening runs
  • Harness storage for all your run essentials offers organization for fuel and gear, including specially designed Quick Stow flask pockets

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Pack, great construction. I am part of the Camelback Proto team and have been using this vest for several months now and it has been fantastic. I love the reservoir, it is quick and easy to fill. I have been using it as part of my marathon/triathlon training and the water capacity has been perfect for all of my training. My one complaint is that over the course of my longer runs the straps across the chest loosen and need to be tightened every 10-20 minutes. Other than that the pack is great. Wouldn't mind an extra pocket for nutritional but I usually make do with the flask pockets in the front. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an entry-to-advanced level hydration vest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good pack, but still with the stupid reservoir this is a good pack, huge improvement over the first version due to the fact the it stays closed. I really wish that camelbak would abandon their current reservoir and adapt the hydrapak like pretty everyone else has done and the reason for that is that they are the best. refilling ad aid stations takes half the time since there is not bobbling with that stupid closure that are on the camelbak reservoirs. also, bring back the marathoner. one more thing, the colors, bring back the traditional blue and silver, black??? really, then whatever that other color is. ugly

Rated 1 out of 5 by from straps loosen I love the new crux reservoir but returned the circuit vest. The side and frond straps loosen so you have to tighten them every 10 minutes. Could have been a great pack if other straps were used, these are too slippery. Also the chest strap buckles feel very delicate, probably won't last long. Weight reduction is good... but not on critical components. Also the right side strap holder ring pressed into my ribs but this is probably a manufacturing defect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice functional vest I bought this vest due to recommendation for long runs. It's great in all aspects but while running it loosens up a bit so I have to keep tightening it. It is tight when I start my run so not sure why it loosens up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would have been 5 but I love almost everything about it. It is light, fastens nicely, pockets are assume. But the gasket didn’t seem to seal the bladder and it leaked tremendously. When I filled the bladder and left the gasket out and it didn’t leak. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but I tried f about 10 times with the gasket and got a leak. But without it, no leak.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great design but straps get loose The pack fits and works great. I like that it carries 2 liters of water without any problems. The shoulder straps are comfortable. The side straps do not stay tight. I constantly have to adjust the while running. The drinking hose is a perfect length and easily tucks nicely into a little loop but it is difficult to remove from the loop. It could be bigger or have a clip on the hose. It had a ton of storage but easily compresses down when not in use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice improvements I'm part of the Proto Team and a CamelBak product ambassador, and I received this vest to test it out. I've used it on a number of longer runs (8-13 miles) and found the fit to be secure and the features an improvement over my old Circuit, which I purchased in 2015. This new version is lighter and uses an improved bladder that's easier to fill (though not perfect - it can still be a challenge to screw it closed properly). I miss the centrally-placed clip for the hydration tube, but I like the daisy chain-style adjustability of the chest straps. The zip pocket fits my phone, and the large front pockets can accommodate soft flasks for added hydration. The new, two-sided interior loop attachment for the bladder means it won't accidentally fall down into the pocket, requiring a stop to adjust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable pack I have ever had I am an ultra runner 57 marathons/ultras plus adventure races. it is the most comfortable pack I have ever worn. (I've had about 10). It's light, vents great, and incredibly comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised at how much storage it had.
