A deployable and fully removable trekking pole quiver allows you to adapt swiftly to changing terrains, while the water-resistant zippered pocket keeps your essentials safe and dry. This is a great vest
This is a great vest but I think there are a few things that could make it even better. The compartments for the flasks could be moved up a couple inches. This would eliminate a bit of wasted space around the collarbone area and by moving up the flask pockets, you wouldn't need to bend down as much (or lift the bottles) to drink. It would also allow a little bit easier access to the pockets below. These pockets could also have a little bit of stretchy material to be able to get into them a little bit more easily. The 2 straps in the front tend to get a little loose and I had to tighten them; this happened during the first wear. Maybe a different material could be used? But overall, this is a really well thought out product! The included pole quiver is really great, the water-resistant pocket for phone/keys is nice to be able to access, and the diagonal zip compartment on the back is something I haven't seen on other products. The flasks took a minute to get used to as you do need to rotate the mouthpiece a certain way to drink but I do love the locking feature because liquid has leaked many times on other flasks. I would definitely recommend this product!

Awesome fit, very snug against
Awesome fit, very snug against your body so it does not bounce as you run. Locking bottles are perfect so you can run with an extra in your pack without it leaking. Vest ran smaller than anticipated, had to size up.

This is my first high quality running vest and I have not used it much yet. I have had a few 3 Mile runs. I like most everything about it. It don't bounce around and fits comfortably. The amount of water it holds is amazing and the trekking pole quiver is awesome. I am a little concerned about the back of my neck getting a rash when I run longer distances but it is too early to say for sure. The reason for the 4 star review and not a 5 is the little red band to hold the water bottle down broke after the first use" it is not needed to keep the water bottle from coming out though. There is tightening straps also". I do not like that I spent 180 dollars for a vest and a part of it broke on first use. This is also not a big problem and easily fixable with glue. That is how it was put together in the first place and the glue just wasn't put on well enough. Again, this doesn't ruin the vest for me but it is concerning that something like that would happen basically right out of the bag. I would still recommend this for someone.

So far so good.
This is my first running vest and after trying a competing product a year ago went back to my Camelbak Classic when I needed to carry water and a belt for my phone. For longer trail runs, in the mountains, I wanted all that the Apex Pro offered. The space to carry stuff and the pole quiver just hit the features for me. Another thing is the bottle placement. The competing product had them lower and no way I could get a sip from them. Returned it. The Apex Pro bottles for me are at the right height. The fitment of the vest is good with a 38-39 chest in size medium. At 67, I'm not a competitive runner doing long distances, and won't be packing it up like many racers will, but I will probably be stowing a light or heavier jacket and any layering, pants and gloves, phone, InReach, hat, etc... as needed.
